Quabbly can help create a form on a board by using the necessary fields found on a Board, and every form submission represents a new record.

Generating a Form involves two steps;

Generating from a Board

Here are the steps involved in generating from a board:

  1. ๐Ÿ’ก Note: Before Generating a form you must have created a board with fields.
  • Create a board

Creating a form begins with creating a board, which contains fields and records

  • Click on Forms

    You can perform all form-related settings here. It is primarily the first step in creating your form. Once you are on the board, move the cursor to the top right and click on Forms.

  • Click on Generate Form

    This action triggers the creation of a new form. You automatically grant anyone who possesses the form's link access to submit data on your board by generating this form.

  • Click on "Form Type"

    This Helps Customize your form and there are two types Classic Form and Modern Form, once you pick the form type you want, it then proceeds to a new page, where you are required to add some information.

  • Add the Required Information

    this is the step where the main magic trick happens. Enter the name of the form, its description, and choose the expiry date of the form. You can also select the required fields to exclude and other fields to be included in the form you are creating.

    ๐Ÿ’ก Note: Expiry date should not be in the past, it should eaither be a present or future date

  • Then tap on Create Form

    This is the last stage to generate a new form. Once this step is complete, your form is ready for use.

๐Ÿ’ก Note: You can open a form directly by clicking on Open Form. The Form displays a link you can share with the public.

Once anyone fills the form, the inputs appear as a record on your board.
